The Practice

I'm Katherine. I help women understand their bodies, so they can stop guessing.

I have spent my life inside physical discipline. I competed as an IFBB Pro bikini competitor and built a professional bodybuilding career on training, structure, and effort. I know what it takes to push a body hard.

Then I became a mother, and the discipline that had always worked stopped working. The training was the same. The effort was the same. My body responded differently. I did not have a willpower problem. I had an answer problem. Nobody had ever helped me understand what was happening inside my body.

Over those years I built real depth in three areas. I came to understand hormones through my work partnered with a hormone replacement therapy clinic, I built my foundation in nutrition, and I coached strength training at a professional level. Those three together already set me apart. But it was going deeper, through a functional lab testing lens, that changed everything. It let me see the root causes of what my clients were actually dealing with, and understand why the body had stopped responding, instead of guessing at it from the outside.

So I evolved my business to understand the body at a deeper level internally, through a functional lab testing lens. I came to understand my own gut health, how my minerals were balanced, and my hormones, and I lost 67 pounds over two years postpartum by addressing what the data actually showed, not by following another plan built on guesses, trends, or challenges. I have spent 14 years in this industry, working with hundreds of women and men on their health, training, and body composition, and this internal layer is the answer I wish I had been able to give them sooner.

This is also where my background sets my work apart. Most functional nutrition practitioners stop at the labs, the food, and the supplements. I do not. Because of my years as an IFBB Pro and a strength coach, I build a real strength training program into the work, with the goal of helping you increase your skeletal muscle. Muscle is not about looking a certain way. It is one of the most powerful things you can build for your metabolism, your hormones, your blood sugar, and your long-term health as you age. Reading your internal data and then building muscle around what it shows is a combination very few practitioners can actually offer, and it is at the center of how I help women change.

Here is what I want for you. So many women I meet are caught in a cycle of buying a new program every season, spending money again and again to guess at their bodies, and starting from zero every holiday or special occasion. I have lived that cycle myself. The reason it never ends is that none of those programs taught them how their body works. When you finally understand that, you get ahead of your body instead of chasing it. You stop starting over. That is the real return on this work, and it is worth far more than the next quick fix.

Weekly check-ins. Your labs come in. We review them together. You check in through the app and Katherine responds within 48 to 72 hours with an update to your approach, built and refined week by week.
Phase Two · Months 4–6 The Integration
Biweekly check-ins. Your approach is working. Now we deepen it, review your month-5 progress, and integrate it into real life.
Throughout Your App
The Her Rooted Health Code app. Your training program, workout tracking, meal logging, and direct messaging with me, all in one place. Your regular check-ins happen here too: you submit progress photos and complete a check-in form, and Katherine responds within 48 to 72 hours with an update to your program.   • Full functional intake. Medical history, lifestyle, symptom mapping, so your labs are reviewed in your context, not in a vacuum.
  • Two baseline labs, all included. Katherine selects your two labs based on what your body needs, drawing from HTMA mineral analysis, the GI MAP gut panel, and functional bloodwork. Both are ordered and paid for by Katherine.
  • A two-practitioner lab review. When we walk through your lab results, you are not only working with me. A partnering functional nutrition practitioner, who is also a Doctor of Pharmacy and fertility coach, joins the review to add another layer of perspective to what your results may indicate. Her pharmacology background brings added depth to the conversation. This is educational insight from two practitioners, offered to deepen your understanding. It is not a diagnosis, treatment, or a replacement for the advice of your own medical provider.
  • Your personalised wellness approach. Built from your actual data. Nutritional support, lifestyle guidance, and supplementation suggestions tailored to what your body is showing us.
  • Your strength training program, built to increase skeletal muscle. Programming built around your hormonal stage and what your labs reveal, with the goal of adding the muscle that supports your metabolism, hormones, and long-term health. Your program progresses on a fresh four-week cycle, so your training keeps building as your body adapts, never a static plan handed over once. Cardio recommendations are included alongside it. Never a generic split.
  • Hands-on lifting and form coaching. I coach you through how to train and lift properly, not just what to do. You can send me video of your exercises any time and I will review your form and give you feedback, so you build muscle safely and with confidence.
  • Educational peptide overview where relevant. Educational content to help you make informed conversations with your licensed medical provider, who is the appropriate decision-maker on any clinical use.
  • A built-in month-5 progress review. Around the midpoint, Katherine reviews how your body is responding and adjusts your approach so the second half of the program builds on what is working.
